Asakura Sculpture Museum 🌿

The "Asakura Sculpture Museum" is located in Taito-ku, Tokyo. 🍃🌸 It was built in 1935 by the renowned modern Japanese sculptor Asakura Fumio (1883–1964) as his workshop and residence. Today, it is open to the public as a memorial museum. 🏛️ The ground floor features a traditional Japanese garden, which is exquisite and elegant. 🍃🌸 The interior is restored to reflect the artist's living conditions during his lifetime. The first floor mainly consists of the artist's studio, which is very spacious and bright. 🎨 🍃🌸 Around the exhibition rooms, there are small sculptures on display.
