Asakusa Temple | Kinahan Bekkan Sukiyaki ๐
๐โจNear Asakusa Temple, there's a place where you have to line up to get inโit seems like reservations aren't possible. ๐๐ธThe queue was pretty long; we waited from about 12:00 to 12:40. The staff were super polite, dressed in kimonos, and had great attitudes! ๐ธ At the beginning, a server will come to help you grill the meat and show you how it's done, then you can take over and do it yourself. ๐โจ In the first picture is Omi beef, and in the second picture is marbled meat. I couldn't really tell the difference, but both were delicious! ๐๐ธ Wrapping the meat in a raw egg (which is sterilized, of course) eliminates any fishy taste and makes it incredibly flavorful. Two portions of meat were just right for two people to feel full. So yummy! ๐ ๐โจ Also, there's another place nearby called "Kinahan Main Store." Both are named Kinahan, but they have different menus, and both stores insist they're different from each other. ๐ฟ For the main store, you can go to the entrance, write your name down, and then just show up when it's your turnโno standing around waiting required. ๐๐ธ #AsakusaTemple #KinahanBekkan #Sukiyaki ๐โจ
