Aspen Autumn Foliage Adventure πποΈοΌ1οΌ
Setting off from Denver at 8 AM, we embarked on a scenic drive to Aspen, making sure to route through the breathtakingly beautiful Independence Pass. π£οΈ π The journey, winding through a tapestry of golden leaves, took us a total of three and a half hours. Our main highlight for the day was the iconic Maroon Bells in Aspen, a sight that's been teasing us with daily glimpses on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book). πΈ ποΈ The view we witnessed today was truly stunning! We caught the 12 PM shuttle bus (booked in advance, of course) and arrived at our destination around 12:30 PM. The sight of towering peaks, golden foliage, and serene lakes left us in awe. π Although some leaves have started to fall, it's still a sight worth seeing, provided there's no strong wind or rain in the forecast. π¬οΈ π§οΈ Contrary to some beliefs, the afternoon light didn't detract from the scenery; the entire valley was bathed in a bright, golden glow. π #HikingToExploreTheWorld #MountEvans #Colorado
