Miso Glazed Eggplant $16 π Surprisingly, it tasted a bit like Chinese - style braised eggplant. The eggplant was deep - fried and then glazed with miso sauce, garnished with pomegranate seeds, mint, and dill/cumin. It was soft, flavorful, and very aromatic. π Sea Urchin + Salmon Caviar (Soupless) $35 π Dry - noodle dish with sea urchin and salmon caviar. The rich flavor of the sea urchin and the fragrant, fun texture of the salmon caviar mixed together were very delicious. The noodles were a bit chewy / springy. π¦ Mixed Plate $18 π Fried chicken + truffle egg sandwich + vegetables. Such a great deal! The fried chicken was very fragrant and could be dipped in matcha powder. The sandwich had a strong truffle flavor and tasted even better with butter sauce. π Sapporo Ramen $18 Ramen with a chicken - based miso broth, topped with chicken chashu, corn kernels, butter, bean sprouts, green onions, and red pepper. It was pretty standard, but the broth was rich and flavorful. π πNR, 339 E 75th St, New York, NY 10021 #TonightβsDinner π½οΈ #FoundATreasureIzakaya π
