Atypical Singapore City Walk 🇸🇬
An offbeat Singapore City Walk during off-duty hours on a business trip Part 1️⃣ Joo Chiat ➡️ Koon Seng Road Peranakan Terraces ➡️ Joo Chiat Banh Mi Ca Phe ➡️ Birds of Paradies Gelato ➡️ Bay East Garden Joo Chiat is a district filled with Peranakan heritage and a concentration of indigenous Chinese, with the East Coast Park at its end. East Coast Park is Singapore's largest beach resort area, offering abundant sports facilities, beautiful beaches, and a lush green environment, very laid-back and relaxed. Part 2️⃣ Sultan Mosque ➡️ Haji Lane A neighborhood with a strong exotic vibe, make sure to check the opening hours if you wish to visit inside the mosque. Part 3️⃣ Fort Canning Tree Tunnel ➡️ Chijmes ➡️ Old Hill Street Police Station ➡️ Clarke Quay 📍 Fort Canning Tree Tunnel: For a photo, you'll need to queue in a tunnel; it's recommended to go during the day and on a sunny day. I went on a cloudy evening, and the photos turned out quite average. 📍 Chijmes: Formerly a Catholic convent school, now a hub for restaurants and bars. Part 4️⃣ Gardens by the Bay ➡️ Merlion ➡️ Satay Street No need to elaborate on the first two, they are must-visit attractions. Satay Street is located in the street of the Lau Pa Sat food center, a CBD by day and a barbecue street by night. You'll need to order and then find your own seat. After a month without alcohol, who can understand the joy of splurging on beer and barbecue in Singapore? #Singapore #SingaporeTravel #ExploreSingapore
