August in Tokyo Begins with Delicious Food 🌟
Most of the time, Tsukiji is very quiet at night, a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the daytime. 🌆✨ It can be quite challenging to find something to eat in the evening. But these days, thanks to the summer festival at Hongan-ji Temple near Tsukiji, the area is exceptionally lively. Almost all the popular food stalls from Tsukiji have set up shop here. A serving of beef costs 700 yen, and a cup of watermelon is 500 yen—prices are similar to usual. 🌆✨ Everyone sits on the ground together, enjoying the delicious food while watching dancers in yukatas perform traditional dances on a makeshift stage, accompanied by taiko drums and folk music, creating a unique summer atmosphere. 🏮 2025 Tokyo Hongan-ji (Tsukiji Hongan-ji) Summer Festival 🏮 Dates: July 30th to August 2nd, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM 🌆✨ Location: Plaza in front of Tsukiji Hongan-ji Temple Admission: Free 🌟 #Tokyo #TsukijiHonganjiFestival 🌆✨
