Autumn Walk at Washington University 🍂

Autumn in St. Louis always changes quietly when least expected. After days of cooling temperatures and rainy weather, the campus seems soaked in autumn atmosphere overnight. This afternoon, I put on my headphones, played Daniel Caesar's soothing soul music, and decided to go out to capture the last traces of fall. Walking along the path covered with fallen leaves, I couldn't help but exclaim, "The leaves have really turned so much redder!" 🍁 Varying shades of red and gold intertwined on the branches, like nature had overturned its palette. The crisp sound underfoot with each step created autumn's own rhythm. A unique scent floated in the air—damp soil blended with the fragrance of fallen leaves, the whole world seemingly wrapped in a gentle sepia filter. ☕️ The cool breeze brushed against my cheeks, not feeling cold but rather refreshing and renewing. Passing by the red brick buildings, I saw several maple leaves scattered on a bench, forming a perfectly composed picture. 🎨 Students hurried by with books in their arms; sweaters and scarves had finally found their purpose. The campus in this season felt both tranquil and vibrant, making one unconsciously slow their pace. Daniel Caesar's "Get You" flowed through my ears, blending wonderfully with the scenery before me. The music turned this ordinary afternoon into something poetic, each note seeming to accompany the falling leaves. 🎧 Though winter is approaching, such autumn days are worth cherishing. I tucked this scene into my heart and continued walking, letting the autumn wind tousle my hair. 💫 The changing seasons always remind us: beauty often lies within fleeting moments. #AutumnWalk #WashingtonUniversity #StLouisAutumn #DanielCaesar #SeasonalChange #CampusLife #NaturesBeauty
