AZ | Goldfield Ghost Town - A Gold Mining Town

🌟🌟Just a half-hour drive from the city, it’s perfect for a weekend outing. No entry or parking fees, but there are three paid tours. We went for all of them and recommend the mine tour and the mystery shack. The mine tour takes you down into the old underground mining shafts and explains how mining was done in the past. It’s quite immersive. 🌟🌟The mystery shack is a house that plays with visual illusions, giving you a sense of wonky gravity. Both are pretty interesting. The whole town is just one street, and with the tours, two hours should be enough. They close at 5 PM every day, so make sure to go early. 🌟🌟Turns out, September in AZ is still not suitable for outdoor activities.
