Baby Pelicans & More! 🐦‍⬛🛥️

I joined the early morning boat tour and was absolutely delighted by the sight of baby pelicans, terns, and oystercatchers—and we saw them all! 🌅👀 Our guide skillfully navigated around the nesting islands, keeping a respectful distance to avoid disturbing the birds while still offering us incredible views. We spent a generous amount of time near the nesting sites, learning about the birds' "nesting and resting" behaviors during this season. 🏝️📚 Though we kept a safe distance, we were still close enough for me to capture some amazing photos of the chicks—and let me tell you, baby pelicans are anything but small! 😄📸 The boat ride itself was serene and scenic, unfolding on a beautiful calm morning—perfect for wildlife watching and photography. ☀️🌊 We never felt rushed; there was plenty of time to soak in the experience, ask questions, and simply enjoy being out on the water surrounded by nature.
