Back to a Classic Montreal Restaurant
🍽️ One of my all-time favorite restaurants is, of course, Au Pied de Cochon. 👭 Visiting with my girlfriends, we encountered delightful surprises. The waiter brought us the wrong Tartare, but it turned out to be the best dish of the night. 🦢 The Foie Gras Nigiri needs no introduction, it truly melts in your mouth. 🍓 The Plogue à Champlain is also incredibly delicious, with a sweet cranberry sauce that complements the rich foie gras without being overwhelming. 🥫 The Duck in a Can, I must admit, left me unimpressed. I didn't find it particularly exciting when I visited years ago, and this time was no different. I've decided to skip it in the future. Perhaps it's because as a Nanjinger, my standards for duck dishes are high, but I found this one a bit too greasy. 🍹 The cocktails are exceptionally good and reasonably priced. The owner personally serves the guests, showing that this is a place run with passion and care. #CanadianLife #HiddenGemRestaurant #Montreal #MontrealFoodExploration #FoieGrass #MontrealCuisine #MontrealArea #MontrealFunAndFood
