Bagel🄯 Coffee-flavored ā˜•cheese at the trendy bagel shop

Every time I go to Smor for their cardamom rolls, I pass by this popular bagel shop—and every time, there’s a long line of white folks waiting. I’ve always known they have espresso cream cheese, and I keep saying ā€œI’ll try it next time!ā€ But every time I’m in the area, I end up going for Smor’s cardamom rolls instead. šŸ˜‚ On Memorial Day, I went to Smor only to find out the cardamom rolls had sold out ages ago. No choice but to turn around and head to that bagel shop nearby! šŸ“ Tompkins Square Bagels They have three locations—two in the East Village and one near Union Square. I ordered a cinnamon bagel with espresso cream cheese. The cinnamon bagel was a good size, chewy with that nice bite—definitely a solid NYC bagel šŸ‘! But maybe because the espresso cream cheese was so bold, I could barely taste the cinnamon. They slathered on so much espresso cream cheese—no skimping here! It tasted like sweet coffee candy, with a noticeable coffee kick, but not overly sugary. You could tell they put a lot of coffee in it—I low-key worried I’d be up all night after eating it. ā˜•ļøšŸ˜… Overall, it’s a great spot! The bagel’s exactly my type—I’ll definitely be back to try the sun-dried tomato cream cheese next time. #NYCFood #NYC #NYCDaily #NYCStudyAbroad #NYCWeekend #Bakery #NYCBagel #NYCBagelShop #Bagel
