Bahamas 🇧🇸 Nassau🏝️ Most Beautiful Restaurant
📍 Lukka Kairi Waterfront Bar & Grill 💰 Average cost per person: $55** A Caribbean restaurant built over the sea, with breathtaking views. While dining, you can enjoy the crystal-clear glass-like sea, sandy beaches, white clouds, and large cruise ships docked at the marina. The most recommended drink is the Bahama Mama, a fruity rum cocktail made with coconut, pomegranate, orange, and pineapple, giving it a very refreshing taste that instantly makes you feel the tropical vibe with just one sip. A highly recommended dish is the Signature Conch Salad, which includes fresh conch, mango, bell peppers, and onions, seasoned with citrus lime juice, and served with tortilla chips. It's a refreshing and crispy taste you've never experienced before and is a representative local specialty. The Shrimp Taco is also recommended, with fresh and crispy fried shrimp that's not greasy at all, harmoniously paired with tomatoes and avocado, but I found the taco shell a bit too soft, as if it had been steamed. Another recommended dish is the Crab Tostadas, served with crab, diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro, avocado, and a type of Spanish pickled vegetable on top of tortilla chips. The crab flavor is subtle, and the combination is novel yet harmonious. (My friends thought this dish had an Indian Masala taste 😢, but I found it very tasty.) The dish not recommended ❌❌ is the Fish Ceviche (I think that's what it's called), which is extremely sour and unpalatable after just one bite. It's worth noting that this restaurant is quite small, with a circular wooden pavilion that seems to accommodate a maximum of 8 tables (2 tables for four, 6 tables for two) and about 10 bar seats, with another four or five tables under beach umbrellas on the wooden walkway. So, if you're a larger group and want a seaside seat, it's best to arrive at the restaurant entrance around 11 am (when it starts operating) and wait for the wooden bridge to be lowered for entry. However, we found that we could enter early from the adjacent Senor Frog's, as the two restaurants are connected by a wooden bridge. Also, the service at this restaurant is quite average; there are no greetings for customers arriving or departing, and there's no welcome or seat arrangement for guests. During the meal, only one waiter occasionally asks "Is everything good?" The restaurant also enforces a mandatory 25% service charge. However, the dishes are not expensive, with an average cost per person of $55. #Caribbean #CaribbeanCuisine #Restaurant #HiddenGem #BahamasTravel #Bahamas #Nassau
