Banff Food Collection: Avoidance Recommendations + Kamloops
Last time, I talked about route planning, and this time, it's about food—avoidance + recommendations. Black List (Avoidance): P2 Block Kitchen & Bar in Banff Town is an Asian fusion restaurant. Personally, I feel it's low value for money (good for those who don't eat staple foods). For example, P2 feels like an appetizer (a plate of meat + a few slices of lettuce) but is priced the same as others with staple foods (rice, noodles, meat). The most critical point is the white waiter; every time you call him, he doesn't come over, then says "one second." I don't want to label him as discriminatory, but his demeanor is indeed not as good as other places. Red List (Recommended): P3-6 Banff Town - The highly recommended Cow's Ice Cream 🍦 is great, but you have to wait in line (funny point: why are all the people in line elderly 😂). Yellow List (Average): P7-8 Beaver Tails Pastries - The pastry with sauce is sweet; overall, it's just okay. P9 Seoul Country Restaurant - A Korean restaurant, just average bibimbap flavor, nothing surprising. P10-12 Kamloops Red List - Jacob's Noodles & Cutlet in Kamloops, a place to rest on the way to Banff, is a hit with the Japanese-style rice, 😋 very filling. Remember to order the one with cutlet, which is their specialty. #Banff #HikingMeasuringTheWorld #SceneryAlongTheJourney #MyTravelDiary #Travel #RoadTrip #SelfDrive #RoadTripRoutes #VancouverTourism #Banff #BanffTourism
