💙 Banff Summer Guide: Must-See Spots & No-Regrets Itinerary 🏔️✨
Last summer in early July, I explored Canada’s Rocky Mountain national parks—stunning! 🌄🍁 Now’s the peak season for Banff, so here’s my guide to help you crush it! 💥 📍 Banff National Park (2–3 Days) 1️⃣ Moraine Lake 💎 (Photos 1–4, 10–11) This lake is hands down the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Rain or shine, sunrise or daytime—it’s magic! 🌧️☀️🌅 You’ll need to book a shuttle or join a tour (unless staying at Moraine Lake Lodge—more on lodging below 👇). 2️⃣ Lake Louise 💧 Famous for its turquoise hues, but packed during holidays! 👥🚗 Crowds can dull the magic, IMO. Private cars allowed (parking available). 3️⃣ Peyto Lake 💙 (Photo 13) That Tiffany-blue shade? Chef’s kiss 👌. Only viewable from afar (short hike required). Skip the main viewpoint—head to Peyto Panorama Viewpoint 🔭 (fewer crowds, 20-min extra hike). Use AllTrails 🗺️ to navigate the tricky path! 4️⃣ Other Lakes Bow Lake: Some love it; I found it “meh” 🤷♀️. Right off Icefields Parkway—worth a quick stop. Grassi Lakes (near Canmore): Feels like Jiuzhaigou! 🏞️🌿 30-min hike from parking. 5️⃣ Banff Town 🏙️ The biggest hub near the parks. Great for shopping (Canada Goose, outdoor gear) and dining—try Arashi Ramen 🍜🔥! 6️⃣ Banff Gondola 🚡 Ride the gondola up for 360° mountain views. We went for winter sunset—breathtaking 🌄❄️! P.S. Can’t fit all tips here—check the last pics for more! 📸👀 #BanffTravel #CanadaGuide #Wanderlust 🌉🏔️
