Tucked away in a cozy corner of San Francisco, BANSANG brings a fresh and creative twist to Korean cuisine β and itβs definitely worth the visit! From the moment you step inside, the space feels both stylish and inviting, with soft lighting, minimalist decor, and a warm, buzzing atmosphere.π We tried a range of dishes, and each one impressed in its own way. πThe Kimchi Pancake was crispy around the edges and packed with flavor, while the Galbi Jjim β braised short ribs β fell apart tenderly with each bite. Another standout was their Tteokbokki, served with a rich, spicy sauce and chewy rice cakes that hit all the right notes. That said, as the meal went on, some dishes started to feel a bit heavy. A light, refreshing side β maybe a tangy cucumber salad or a crisp, pickled radish β would have balanced things beautifully.π When it came to dessert, we tried the Black Sesame Mochi Cake and the Yuzu Panna Cotta. They werenβt bad β just a bit forgettable compared to the vibrant flavors of the main courses. All in all, BANSANG is a great spot for a fun night out or a flavorful meal with friends.
