Basel Art Fair: A Weekend of Art Indulgence Until Your Legs Give Out

Putting out my favorite ❤️ for a weekend entirely dedicated to art exhibitions—just how blissful can one weekend be? 🥹 ✨ Recently, there have been many new exhibitions in Paris! But the highest quality and largest scale has to be the Basel Art Fair. 📍 This year, it's located at the Grand Palais! Previously, the Grand Palais hadn't been fully open to the public, and it was indeed stunning when I visited. The enormous venue houses hundreds of globally renowned galleries, and it feels like everyone browsing could be potential buyers of millions of dollars' worth of art. 🥹 📕 The Basel Art Fair mainly focuses on contemporary art. If you love abstract and color-intensive pieces, you'll absolutely adore it. 😍 Additionally, along the route from the Grand Palais to the Concorde Square, there's a string of art galleries. Compared to the Grand Palais, this area boasts more boutique galleries. Although the overall area isn't vast, just strolling for a few hundred meters will take you at least two hours—such is the high quality of the art. 🥹 There are so many paintings I love!
