Bay Area's Most Classic Steakhouse | House of Prime Rib
✨In the Bay Area, if there’s one steakhouse that stands out as the most classic and long-standing, it’s undoubtedly this one. Established in 1949, it still maintains the traditional and elegant British-style decor. The high-quality steaks and impeccable service remain as excellent as ever. If you don’t make a reservation six months in advance, it’s nearly impossible to get a table. The menu is simple, offering just a few different cuts of steak. Each order comes with a salad🥗, bread-roll, mashed potatoes or baked potato, and a choice of corn or spinach puree. The value for money is truly exceptional. Every time I visit, I must order the King Henry VIII Cut🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Sourced from corn-fed cattle from the Midwest, aged for 21 days, this steak is incredibly juicy and tender, connected to the bone. Cooked to medium-rare perfection, it showcases the tenderness and firmness of the beef without any bloodiness. The more you chew, the richer the beef flavor becomes. It’s incredibly satisfying to savor every bite. If you still feel like you need more after finishing this steak, you can even request a complimentary thin slice of steak. ✨The salad🥗 is also delicious, very refreshing with a generous portion. The addition of beets adds a touch of sweetness and moisture, and the seasoning is just right👍. I chose the baked potato and spinach puree. The baked potato is excellent, topped with ground meat and sour cream. It’s perfectly baked—soft and flavorful, yet still with a great texture. The spinach puree is a bit salty on its own, but I recommend pairing it with the steak for a balanced taste. 👧🏻 In terms of food quality, service, ambiance, and value for money, this place is truly top-notch. It’s definitely worth making a reservation to experience it, whether for a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary. #AmbianceRestaurant #HiddenGem #MustTryList #FoodRecommendation
