🇹🇭 Kin Khao The decor and atmosphere don’t give away its Michelin star—it’s surprisingly down-to-earth. Some of the little decorations are really homey and ethnic. Perfect for theater-goers who want to catch a musical. Arrive early, have dinner here, and it’s just a 6-minute walk to the theater. Xiao Cheng and I enjoyed this spot before heading to Chicago. 🐷 Caramelized Pork Belly Recommended in every post, and it’s truly amazing! The crispy skin and tender, juicy meat are sweet and delightful. The downside is that it’s quite rich, and one serving is enough. 🥩 🍜 Pad Kee Mao The server highly recommended this stir-fried rice noodle dish. The noodles are oily but not greasy, and the minced pork is fantastic—one spoonful after another! 🍜 🍗 Pretty Hot Wings The menu claims these are the spiciest, with a Southeast Asian throat-burning heat. But the sour and spicy flavors are quite addictive—a new and exciting experience! 🍗 🦑 Plah Pla Muek Squid from Monterey Bay. The peanuts and cilantro are perfectly balanced. The fresh seafood sauce is super refreshing and instantly whets your appetite. 🦑 🦐 Saeng Wa This dish is pretty average—a ceviche version with shrimp, catfish, and trout. It feels like they’re trying to make a fusion dish, but everything together is a bit of a mishmash, and it’s hard to tell what the main flavor is. 🦐 There are also many posts recommending the curry pasta, which looks great.
