Bay Area Food | Little Saigon: Every Restaurant Is a Delight

🥢 Restaurant Name: Nam Thanh Bánh Canh 3 Miền 📍 Address: 958 Story Rd, San Jose, CA 95122 💜There are a few days every year when I get an intense craving for pho. 💜I highly recommend the pho (number 13) and the crab roe udon (number 5) from this place. They’re incredibly satisfying. Besides the crab meat, the dish also includes pork knuckle, fried pork, and shrimp. The broth is thick and rich, and it would make a great base for a rice bowl. 💜For an extra $3, you can get fried dough sticks, which are said to be delicious when dipped in the broth. But I prefer to eat them plain—they have no alkaline taste and are not greasy at all. The spring rolls are also good, with a crispy layer inside. However, the coffee is too strong; I suggest taking it to go and diluting it with a few cups of water before drinking. 💜The portions are large and filling, with plenty of meat. Although it’s a bit pricey by Vietnamese noodle standards—three of us spent $100—it’s worth it. There’s no waiting in line, and the service is excellent. Go and try it! #BayAreaLife #WhatToEatOnBayAreaWeekends #BayAreaFood #BayAreaEats #HiddenGems #BayAreaFun
