Bay Area Food 🌟 It’s Been a While Since I Was This Impressed!
I’m so satisfied with Prelude restaurant. The dishes are richly flavored and meticulously seasoned, with both looks and taste on point. The attention to detail is truly impressive! The fried chicken here is absolutely amazing—I can’t stop raving about it! The servers are not only attentive and nice but also have a great sense of humor. The atmosphere is cozy and homely. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a satisfying dining experience. Prelude〰️ Ham Sandwich 🥪: The thinly sliced, marinated ham is paired with jam to cut through the richness, served on toasted bread. This appetizer alone made me so happy from the first bite! Nashville Hot Oysters 🦪: The oysters are richly seasoned. To be honest, the sauce does overshadow the oyster flavor a bit, but it’s still delicious with a little bit of heat. Deviled Eggs 🥚: The deviled eggs are pretty standard—not super impressive, but they have crispy fried chicken skin bits that add a nice texture. Stuffed Chicken Wings 🍗: These wings are incredible! They’re filled with seasoned ground chicken mixed with dirty rice. You can’t really taste the rice at all, and the skin is seasoned in a way that reminds me of those snack chips from childhood. Highly recommended! Smoked Catfish Dumplings 🥟: These don’t feel like a main course at all. They have a fish ball-like texture, made from a mix of fish and rice flour. Paired with the fried sandwich bread and the rich broth, it’s a guilty pleasure worth trying! A4 Wagyu Ribeye 🥩: The beef is well-marbled and of great quality, but the portion is a bit too large and can be a bit rich. I’d suggest pairing it with red wine. Gulf Red Snapper 🐟: The red snapper is wrapped with shrimp, and I actually enjoyed the shrimp filling more. 📍333 Battery St, San Francisco, CA 94111 I’m so happy I got to try this place! It’s been a long time since I was this impressed. They manage to make even the main courses so delicious, which is perfect for those who don’t usually enjoy heavy meals. #BayAreaFood #BayAreaEats #SanFranciscoBayArea #SanFranciscoFood
