Bay Area Food 🌟 Remember Moussaka, the Greek Dish!

I’m usually a big fan of Mediterranean dishes like grilled fish and lamb shanks, but I fell in love with Moussaka at first bite, thanks to my friend’s strong recommendation. It’s just so delicious! The combination of meat sauce, eggplant, zucchini, potato slices, and a generous layer of melted cheese is irresistible. Every ingredient is something I love, and together they’re just perfect! šŸ Moussaka is like a low-carb version of lasagna—think eggplant and meat sauce layers, but without the pasta. It’s perfect for someone like me who isn’t a big fan of pasta. Why didn’t I discover this sooner? šŸ˜ I haven’t had a new dish this good in a while. The only downside is that it’s a bit high in calories, but who cares when it’s this good? It’s totally worth it once in a while! šŸ‘šŸ» From now on, I’ll always look for Moussaka when I’m eating Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, or Greek food. I think beef might be even better than lamb in this dish, though the lamb is pretty flavorful. 🐟 Their grilled fish is my absolute favorite—I highly recommend it! šŸ‘ Lamb Shank: The lamb shank is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It has that perfect barbecue texture with a soft, juicy center. If you love lamb, you’ll probably love this. But to be honest, it’s quite similar to what you’d find at DishDash, and there’s still a bit of that distinctive lamb flavor. 🄦 Turmeric Roasted Cauliflower: The cauliflower is roasted with turmeric and served with yogurt. The turmeric gives it a slight Indian curry flavor, which I really enjoyed. The yogurt base is also delicious—I loved it! šŸ® MAHALABIA SHAABIYAT: Mahalabia is a traditional Middle Eastern milk pudding with a pure, creamy flavor and a hint of floral notes. It’s not too sweet and really delightful. The Shaabiyat is a light, crispy pastry that pairs perfectly with the pudding. Highly recommended! šŸ‘‰šŸ» You can make reservations in advance. This place seems to be a popular spot for business dinners and social gatherings. It gets really crowded after 6:30 p.m. šŸ“3060 Olsen Dr Ste 50, San Jose, CA 95128 🄳 I highly recommend this Mediterranean restaurant! If you’re shopping at Santana Row on the weekend, this is a great place to stop by. The ambiance and food are both excellent, and there’s even a Blue Bottle Coffee and Boba Guys nearby for a drink. #BayAreaFood #BayAreaEats #BayAreaLife #BayAreaWeekend #SanFranciscoBayArea #MediterraneanFood
