Bay Area Foodie Adventure | Liholiho Yacht Club ๐๏ธ
A friend visited the Bay Area, so we finally checked off a long-time bucket list spot: Liholiho Yacht Club โจโa fusion of Hawaiian, Californian, and Asian flavors. The vibe was chill, and while not mind-blowing, every dish had its own charm. Pro tip: Book ahead! What We Ordered: ๐ช Poppyseed Steam Bun โ Soft bao stuffed with beef tongue, kimchi, and cucumber. Flavorful, but the tongue lacked that fresh-off-the-grill char. ๐ Duck Liver Mousse (x2!) โ Silky-smooth with blueberry jam, shiso, and banana-bread-like toast. Unique and tasty, but richโshare wisely. ๐ฅฉ American Wagyu Zabuton โ Perfectly cooked, juicy steak with crispy wood ear mushrooms. The spinach-potato side? Pretty but bland. ๐ Grilled Cumin Lamb โ Our fave! Tender chops + lamb sausage with crispy potato strings. Spiced just right. ๐ Local Ling Cod โ MVP! Buttery fish in rich red curryโwarm, comforting, and packed with umami. ๐ Fried Rice โ Kimchi fried rice with mushrooms and house-made spam. Solid, but not standout. ๐ฐ Baked Hawaii โ Toasted marshmallow shell with coconut sorbet + citrus chiffon cake. Sweet-tart, but paled next to our earlier Garden Creamery stop. (Still worth a try!) ๐ Liholiho Yacht Club 871 Sutter St, San Francisco, CA 94109 #BayAreaEats #SFfoodie #HawaiianFusion #WeekendBites #FoodieDiary ๐ฝ๏ธโจ
