🌟Half a year has passed, And I still find myself missing this meal in Lisbon. 🌟On my first visit to Lisbon, After a brief rest, I made a beeline for the legendary Belcanto, I had booked the chef’s table, As a treat to myself. 🌟José Avillez’s menu, Crafted like a work of art, Lacks the pretentious “smoke and mirrors.” It truly wins the heart of this pragmatic diner. 🌟Behind each dish, There’s a year of “creation” noted. Take that orange 🍊 for example, It was perfectly executed, Priceless. 🌟The cooking methods are all-encompassing, The lobster dish had a hint of Thai flavor, Other memorable ones include the versatile Portuguese codfish, And every appetizer and dessert. 🌟The Belcanto experience, For an ordinary person like me, Is quite rare. The American “tablemate” I met during the meal, Has now become a virtual family.
