Beso | Vegas Food Diary 🍽️📓
Restaurant: Beso Restaurant Food Rating: 4/10 🧄 Melitzanosalata: Garlic flavor was too strong, and the eggplant lacked smoky depth. 🐙 Grilled Octopus: Out of all the grilled octopus dishes I’ve tried lately, this was probably the worst. Simple seasoning isn’t the issue—it was just dried out. Instead of crispy outside and tender inside, it was dry all the way through 😓. 🍖 Mixed Grill Sausage Platter: Most of it didn’t suit my taste. Beyond seasoning and cooking technique, having all meat (and pretty monotonous sausages) with no sides or carbs made it hard to eat. The kebapche was slightly better—moderately seasoned and relatively juicy. The rest were dry (especially the grilled pork chop) and overly salty. The karnache was even quite spicy 🌶️. The bell pepper sauce was the only thing that made the dish somewhat edible… 👨👩👧👦 The weekend crowd and location gave off a local family restaurant vibe—casual and neighborhood-friendly. But service was extremely slow 🐌. The place wasn’t even that busy, yet we waited forever just to get water and order. I almost walked out. Conclusion: Won’t be returning. 🙅♀️ Have you been to Beso?
