Étouffée is a classic Southern dish from New Orleans—similar to Gumbo, often called the "American curry rice." Since it wasn’t crawfish season, the ones used here were frozen. A few had a slightly earthy taste, but overall, it was still delicious! 😋 The seafood boil didn’t blow us away, but the price was great—buy 3 lbs, get 1 lb of shrimp free! 🦐 The shell-on shrimp were fresh, though the rest of the seafood was frozen. The seasoning wasn’t as flavorful as The Boiling Crab, but still satisfying.
