As a habitat for several rare species, Sutton Park is an ideal spot for observing nature, whether it's small animals or large creatures. In the northern part of the park, wild Exmoor Ponies roam the moors year-round and can be viewed from a distance, but please do not approach or feed them. There are two large playgrounds at Town Gate and Banners Gate, suitable for children aged 3 to 13. The Visitor Centre provides baby changing facilities, and there are toilets at multiple locations, including the town gate entrance, Visitor Centre, and Banners Gate.
