Birmingham 🌸 Sakura Trees and a Hidden Italian Gem

📌 **Piccolino** With the cherry blossoms in full bloom in Birmingham, after snapping some photos, head straight to this long-popular Italian restaurant. Sitting by the window offers the perfect view of the cherry blossoms. Remember to book in advance on weekends! 😋 🍽️ **Appetizers** 🦪 **Capesante** Garlic-roasted scallops ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The scallops are huge, topped with breadcrumbs that make them crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The texture is incredibly layered. Three per plate just weren’t enough! 😭 🍤 **BRUSCHETTA CON GAMBERONI** Lemon butter shrimp ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This dish is also amazing. The shrimp are very bouncy, topped with parsley, and served on toasted bread. It’s so refreshing and satisfying! 😍 🍽️ **Main Courses** 🦞 **Linguine All’aragosta** Lobster linguine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A regular portion comes with half a lobster, but we added another half. The entire plate was filled with lobster and rich tomato sauce. I can only say one word: perfection! 🍄 **RISOTTO AL FUNGHI** Creamy mushroom risotto ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The cream and truffle aroma are incredibly rich, and the rice is soft, not undercooked at all. The combination is stunning at first, though it might get a bit heavy after a while. 🫢 🍤 **RISOTTO AL GAMBERONI** Shrimp risotto ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I prefer this shrimp risotto over the mushroom one. The tomato seasoning makes it much lighter and more refreshing. The large shrimp on top are amazing! 🤩 Their tiramisu is also very authentic and not overly sweet. If you still have room, definitely go for an extra piece! 🧾 **Average Spend**: £50-60. For lobster and seafood, this price is really reasonable and offers great value. #birminghamcherryblossoms #birminghamfood #italianrestaurant #datevenue #uk #birminghamlife
