Birmingham Botanical Gardens πΌ Recommended!
π Recommendation #1: Huge, with several greenhouses, there's so much to see! I personally love flowers, and although I didn't have time to explore everything, I still saw many, such as: Pentas, Hydrangeas, Torch Lilies, Crinkled Hostas, March Flowering Hibiscus, Dahlias, Coral Flowers, Blue Ginger, South African Daisies, Cassia, Albizia, and many more trees, succulents, and cacti π΅ π Recommendation #2: The outdoor area is also very beautiful. There are benches to rest in front of scenic views, with large lawns and even small woods to walk through. π Recommendation #3: There are some animals, a butterfly house π¦ and some beautiful talking parrots π¦. The tearoom inside is also quite good ππΌ. It's the tearoom where Tony Blair brought world leaders and their spouses during the 1998 G8 summit. The seating chart is quite interesting π€οΈ. After seeing it, I tried coffee and walnut-flavored cake. The coffee was good, and the cake was delicious but too sweet! π Recommendation #4: If the weather is good, it's perfect for photos! There are very few people on weekdays, mostly mothers with strollers. That day, I saw some very beautiful girls in floral dresses who went there specifically to take photos π·. I also saw that the botanical garden advertises regular events: open-air movies π¬ποΈ, yoga, and more! In short, it's definitely worth the ticket price! You can wander around for a long timeο½Highly recommended! Ticket price: Β£7.5, student discounts available, can be bought on-site or online. Transportation: From Birmingham New Street, take the 23platinum/24platinum bus, and it's about a 15-minute ride to the Botanical Gardens. #Birmingham #BotanicalGardens #BirminghamDayTrip #Birmingham #BirminghamBotanicalGardens #BirminghamAttractions
