Birmingham Cathedral, Canals & the Jewellery Quarter
I spent a quiet half-hour sitting inside Birmingham Cathedral 🕊️, listening to the priest and congregation sing hymns. The contrast was striking—outside, the sun blazed ☀️, the streets buzzed with noise, but inside, it was cool, peaceful, and solemn. ❤️ Afterward, I strolled along the canal district 🚶♀️💦, watching the narrowboats glide by, before heading to the Jewellery Quarter 💎. I thought about picking up a little something for the kids—maybe a delicate necklace or charm—but most shops were closed. 😅 I wondered if Da Bao ever wore that Vivienne Westwood pearl necklace I got her. Did she find it too flashy? Or maybe the quality wasn’t great, and it’s just collecting dust now… 🤔 At the time, I just wanted something classic to match that dress. If I find something prettier and more understated next time, I’ll grab it! ✨ By the time I left the Jewellery Quarter, I was exhausted but decided to push on to the University of Birmingham 🎓. The red-brick buildings and green lawns were so picturesque—definitely worth the walk! 🌿 It was a long, tiring day—but so fulfilling! ✨😊 #Birmingham #UKTravel #JewelleryQuarter #BirminghamCathedral #DayOut #VivienneWestwood #UoB 🇬🇧
