Birmingham Harborne Kitchen | It Really Has What It Takes! ππ½οΈ
I chose a Michelin-recommended restaurant near my home for New Year's Eve. I've heard a lot about Harborne Kitchen, and my colleague always says it's the best restaurant in Birmingham, and they've been there many times! So, I decided to check it out... My personal rating: Service 5/5, Ambience 4/5, Food 4/5, Overall 4.7/5! The 11-course meal offers great value for money. I ordered the pescatarian menu with fish and it was the same price as the regular tasting menu, Β£95 per person. My favorite dishes were a crispy appetizer (anyone else as fascinated with appetizers as I am? π), and the main course, Cod! The accompanying mushroom sauce was so fresh. For dessert, I loved the πsorbet snow ice cream. The baked cheese was a miss for me... but everything else was delicious. I think the saltiness was just right; some people complain it's too salty, but I thought it was fine! I highly recommend their cocktail, Orchard Spice.
