Birmingham Michelin One-Star Restaurant Exploration
The entire restaurant is located in a spacious villa, with a very cozy atmosphere. Dining is accompanied by noble and elegant music, which is not as serious as the Michelin restaurants I had in mind. š CURED CHALK STREAM TROUT There were no oysters that day, so I had salmon instead. It was topped with roe, accompanied by some mustard sauce and pickled cucumbers. It was delicious and refreshing. š HERITAGE BEETROOT The beetroot was very delicately prepared, retaining most of the beetroot flavor. š BEEF WELLINGTON The best Wellington steak I've ever had!!!! The outside is crispy pastry, and the beef inside is very tender. Served with sauce and mashed potatoes, highly recommended!! The side dishes are cabbage and carrots, which are very refreshing. š CHOCOLATE AND CHERRY TART Chocolate cherry tart, I personally think it's average. The top is a bit like cherry-flavored sorbet. The chocolate is too bitter and a bit sour when paired with cherry filling. š YORKSHIRE RHUBARB A very delicately plated dessert ~ This one is not bad, it tastes like vanilla ice cream, cool and refreshing. š Drinks: Virgin Strawberry Daiquiry and Peach Bellini The strawberry juice is non-alcoholic, tangy and sweet, quite good. The peach sparkling wine has a strong alcohol taste, not highly recommended. Two people ordered two Wellington menus, the average cost per person is Ā£100+. #BirminghamFood #BirminghamUKExploration #BirminghamMichelinRestaurant #BirminghamFoodExploration #BirminghamLife #MichelinRestaurant
