Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park – A Short & Sweet Weekend Escape

Visited the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park last Saturday – a compact, family-friendly zoo located about 1.8km from the University of Birmingham. While it’s a pleasant way to spend an hour, don’t expect a sprawling safari experience! 🐾 What to Expect: Small Animals: Red pandas, lemurs, reptiles, birds, and a few curious meerkats! The Star: A solitary Eurasian lynx – the only "big cat" here. Family Vibe: Lots of British parents with young kids – stroller-friendly paths and interactive talks. 🎟️ Tickets: Adult: £10 Student: £8 (with valid ID) 👍 Honest Review: It’s well-kept and educational, but quite small – you can easily cover everything in 60-90 minutes. The price feels a tad high for the scale, but it’s a nice one-time visit for animal lovers or families with tiny tots. Not a must-do, but a calm, green escape if you’re nearby! #UK #Birmingham #Travel#BirminghamZoo #WildlifePark #FamilyFriendly #WeekendIdeas #SmallButCute #OneTimeVisit
