BK Christmas Village All Lit Up ๐
๐ Every year, the stunning Brooklyn Christmas Village in Dyker Heights (a fancy neighborhood) starts showing off its lights. Each house has its own unique decorations, and the whole area is super Christmassy! โค๏ธ ๐งโ๐ This year was my first time bringing my mom to see it. Itโs been six years since my last visit. Some houses have the same decorations as before, which is super thoughtful! Itโs truly a beautiful sight every Christmas. Some houses even have little stalls with food and drinks. There are ice cream trucks and vendors selling Christmas lights and toys. Itโs so lively and fun! ๐ The general area is between 10th-13th Avenues and 82nd-85th Streets in Brooklyn, 11228. The decorations are more concentrated around 11th Avenue and 84th Street. Some houses donโt have decorations, but itโs still worth a slow walk to enjoy the atmosphere. Tour groups visit here, and there are lots of police cars and officers patrolling to keep everyone safe. The area gets super crowded two days before Christmas, so be prepared! โ ๏ธ A friendly reminder ๐: It gets really cold, so donโt forget your gloves! ๐ฅฐ๐ #NewYorkLife #NewYorkChristmas ๐ ๐
