BK Gorgeous Japanese Spot 🍣|Fine-Dining Vibes, Affordable Prices 🤩
Living near BK Downtown, I hadn’t found a go-to Japanese spot nearby—until recently, when I noticed a new place open near Whole Foods. I expected a typical sushi joint, but stepping inside felt like entering a French fine-dining restaurant! Despite the upscale decor and beautiful tableware, the prices are surprisingly reasonable—just your average sushi costs. 🍴 Mito We got a little carried away and ordered a lot: Starters 🥗 Kani Salad – Generous portion, light and refreshing. 🦑 Calamari – Crispy and golden, served with tangy Thai chili sauce. 🍖 Galbi – Tender, braised beef similar to stewed brisket—very comforting and Asian-palate-friendly. Special Rolls 🍙 Crispy Rice Sushi – Layered with black truffle, spicy tuna, crunchy fried rice, and a hint of spicy avocado. 🥑 Lobster Guacamole – Creamy avocado with real lobster chunks, perfect with tortilla chips. Sushi Favorites 🍣 Monster Lobster Roll – Featuring crispy fried lobster, rich and satisfying. 🔥 Seared Tuna Roll – Spicy crab stick and torched tuna—flavor-packed and delicious. Mains 🍚 Truffle Chicken Fried Rice – Fragrant with black truffle, tender chicken, and a huge portion. 🍔 Wagyu Beef Burger – Juicy patty, not too heavy, served with thick-cut truffle fries (so crispy and addictive!). We ordered enough for five people, yet with the elegant ambiance, beautiful plating, and great service, it came out to only around $40 per person. Value, atmosphere, and taste all in one—this is my new BK Japanese treasure! 💎 #Foodie #NYCExploration #FoodLife #NYCFood #JapaneseCuisine #NYC #NYCLife #NYCStudent #NYCJapaneseFood #BKEats #BKFoodScene #StudentFoodie #NYCWeekend #NYCRestaurants #MitoBK #HiddenGem
