Blown Away by the Colors of Stuttgart State Gallery

The sky was overcast on the way there, but just a few minutes after I stepped into the lobby, the sun came out! The light and shadows cast on the floor made me think, "Wow, I’m so lucky!" 🌟 Though the gallery has a large spatial scale, the wrap-around colors and visual appeal make it feel approachable and secure. What’s noteworthy is that every use of color corresponds to specific architectural components—handrails, steel frames, elevator cabs, doorways, baseboards, floors, and curtain wall profiles—all clear and defined. These colors aren’t meaningless surface decorations; instead, the modern sense of order and functionalism are fully preserved. 🧱 I also had a wonderful surprise: I stumbled upon works by Picasso (the color paintings I’d seen in art books before—Red and Blue), plus pieces by Mondrian! I hadn’t done any research beforehand, so this was totally unexpected. 🎨 #CulturalArtSpace #Architecture #ExhibitionHopping #ShanghaiIndependentDesigner #SpatialDesign #ColorMatching #InteriorDesign #Bauhaus
