We picked Bodega โ€” a spot with decent ratings โ€” and ended up discovering what I can now confidently call an "I know a spot" kind of place. A true late-night haven. We ordered all three desserts (because why not?): ๐Ÿต Seasonal Crepe Cake Matcha this season โ€” balanced, not too sweet, though the crepe layers were a bit thick. ๐Ÿฎ Hojicha Panna Cotta Looks like a parfait! Topped with strawberries, red beans, and corn flakes โ€” sweet, but the hojicha flavor was subtle. ๐Ÿจ Pandan Mochi Cake + Coconut Gelato The standout! Warm pandan mochi cake paired with cool coconut ice cream โ€” Southeast Asian comfort in a bowl, and not overly sweet! ๐Ÿš Crab Fat Fried Rice Possibly the best crab fried rice Iโ€™ve had where the crab isnโ€™t the star. Instead, itโ€™s the sweet scallops, tender squid, savory lap cheong, and tangy pickled mustard greens that shine. Light yet flavorful โ€” I could eat this every day. ๐Ÿฅฉ Bo Luc Lac (Shaking Beef) Seared tenderloin in truffle butter โ€” rich and caramelized, yet the beefโ€™s own flavor still sings. And the roasted baby potatoes? Even better than the meat.
