Bodega SF | A Late-Night Vietnamese Gem ๐ป๐ณ๐
After catching a show and a few drinks, my friend and I found ourselves hungry and scrolling through Google Maps. We picked Bodega โ a spot with decent ratings โ and ended up discovering what I can now confidently call an "I know a spot" kind of place. A true late-night haven. We ordered all three desserts (because why not?): ๐ต Seasonal Crepe Cake Matcha this season โ balanced, not too sweet, though the crepe layers were a bit thick. ๐ฎ Hojicha Panna Cotta Looks like a parfait! Topped with strawberries, red beans, and corn flakes โ sweet, but the hojicha flavor was subtle. ๐จ Pandan Mochi Cake + Coconut Gelato The standout! Warm pandan mochi cake paired with cool coconut ice cream โ Southeast Asian comfort in a bowl, and not overly sweet! ๐ Crab Fat Fried Rice Possibly the best crab fried rice Iโve had where the crab isnโt the star. Instead, itโs the sweet scallops, tender squid, savory lap cheong, and tangy pickled mustard greens that shine. Light yet flavorful โ I could eat this every day. ๐ฅฉ Bo Luc Lac (Shaking Beef) Seared tenderloin in truffle butter โ rich and caramelized, yet the beefโs own flavor still sings. And the roasted baby potatoes? Even better than the meat. Fresh tomatoes and sweet pearl onions balance it all out perfectly. โ ๏ธ Heads up: Dinner menu has no pho! ๐ Bodega | 138 Mason St, San Francisco ๐ Late-night friendly | Cozy vibe | Perfect after a night out #BodegaSF #VietnameseFood #LateNightEats #SFDining #DessertLovers #CrabFriedRice #ShakingBeef #HiddenGem #FoodAfterDark #BayAreaBites
