Boise Food Review: Goodwood BBQ vs. Texas Roadhouse 🍖🔥

I checked a few travel apps for top-rated restaurants and decided to try Goodwood BBQ in Meridian — ranked No. 1 locally! And wow, I totally get why… the flavor is widely loved — and it’s super affordable too! 💰👍 Their pork ribs are seasoned just right — that first bite instantly hits you with that “YESS, this is the one!” feeling 😋🍖 But when compared to the major chain Texas Roadhouse… it falls just a tiny bit short. I still remember trying Texas Roadhouse for the first time in Dubai — loved it! And here in the U.S., you see them everywhere 🏜️🤠 Gotta say though — my favorite thing there is actually their complimentary fresh bread and peanuts 🥜🍞 (though their steak is great too 😉). Overall both are delicious in their own ways — no complaints here LOL! 👉 Goodwood: Better value, lower price. 👉 Texas Roadhouse: Opens dinner only, slightly pricier but also slightly better in taste.
