Brief Reviews of Three Pre-Move-In Transition Hotels in New York π
1οΈβ£ Tempo by Hilton Times Square Pros: The facilities are new. It's located right in the heart of Times Square, making it super convenient for getting around. π Cons: The rooms are very small (but the bathrooms are quite spacious, which is a bit puzzling). There's no bottled water in the room; you have to get it from the drinking water machine. π Other Notes: The nightly destination fee can be used at the restaurant. Breakfast is available Γ la carte at the cafΓ©, which is just okay. π The next two hotels are in the downtown financial district, which is great for exploring Wall Street, the Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge, as well as visiting DUMBO. π 2οΈβ£ New York Marriott Downtown Pros: The rooms are larger. There's an unlimited supply of bottled water. It's right next to the 9/11 Memorial Museum, so security is excellent, and the neighborhood is clean. π Cons: The bathrooms are old-fashioned, and you have to take a bath in the bathtub. The elevator doors can be pressed without a room card. π Other Notes: It's a big Marriott hotel. The lounge food is just okay; it's either too sweet or too salty. π 3οΈβ£ Hotel Indigo NYCβWall Street Pros: It's new. The rooms are decently sized. There's a competitive price advantage (only $1,300). Bottled water is provided. π Cons: The staff attitude is poor, but considering the price, it's tolerable. π Other Notes: I highly recommend trying the nearby pizza at Keste Pizza e Vino; it's incredibly delicious! π Summary: Missing Asia. π #NewYorkHotels π¨
