Bringing LaDigue into Paris on the opening day of the Olympics

The long-prepared trip has finally arrived 🐢 We brought LaDigue from Singapore to Paris on a direct flight. The day before the flight, a friend reminded me that the French airport workers might strike on the day we arrived, which was also the opening day of the Olympics. However, upon arriving at Charles de Gaulle Airport, we found that although there were many tourists, the entry process was orderly and we quickly cleared customs. The speed at which our luggage arrived was as fast as at Singapore's Changi Airport πŸ˜‚ Clearing customs with LaDigue was also smooth. The customs officers only briefly checked LaDigue's vaccination book, Singapore export certificate, and health report for entry into France, scanned its chip number, and then stamped and returned the French health report to me. Keep this health report for entry into France safe, as it will be needed for verification at DDPP before returning to Singapore. When we went to the car rental agency to pick up the car, we also met a very friendly French guy. We were worried about potential issues since we didn't specify that we were bringing a dog when booking the car, but the French guy was even concerned that the car might not be big enough for the dog to sit comfortably πŸ˜… I hope the rest of the trip goes smoothly 🐰 #Border Collie #Border Collie #Singapore #Singapore life #Paris Olympics #Paris Olympics opening ceremony #Paris #Olympics #Traveling with dogs #Dog diary
