Brooklyn Near Barclay❣️ Superb Mediterranean Cuisine 🐙

📍 Miss Ada 184 Dekalb Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11205 Miss Ada is truly a hidden gem in Fort Greene. Last time, I walked in for dinner before a concert at Barclays and had an amazing Mediterranean meal. 🌟 🥙 If you don’t have a reservation, showing up early for a walk-in might get you a table after a short wait. They seat you only when your whole party arrives. They also have brunch on weekends. 🥪 I checked and found out they’re even Michelin-recommended! 🌟 Hanger Steak: I ordered the steak as my main course. It was tender and delicious, served with chickpeas and green tahini (aka Middle Eastern sesame sauce)—so flavorful! There was also half a lettuce for a balanced meal. 🥩 🥙 Lamb Shawarma Hummus: Highly recommended for those who can handle the flavor of lamb! Their hummus is simply incredible—rich in texture with a slight tanginess that keeps it from being too heavy. It’s perfect for scooping with pita bread. However, if you’re not a fan of lamb, the flavor might be a bit strong for you. 🐑 Pita: It came with the hummus, and their pita bread is truly delicious, especially when it’s still warm. Carbs are a comfort food for a reason! I ate one and a half plates of pita with hummus and tahini (yes, I ordered a refill), and my stomach was about to burst. 🥙 Octopus: You can always trust Mediterranean cuisine for its octopus. As long as it’s not overcooked, it’s delicious. It was served with eggplant puree. 🐙 🥙 I’m looking forward to trying their skewers and shashuka next time. Everything on the menu seems so tasty! The dishes often come with various “mashes,” which pair perfectly with pita and are quite filling. This place has definitely earned a spot on my list of places to visit again and again. #NewYorkFood #NewYork #NYCEats 🌃🌟
