Brunch at Maxineโs Cafe & Bar in DT that's so delicious it makes you dizzy
Last weekend, my friend and I went to eat brunch at Maxine's Cafe & Bar in DT. After eating there, I can say that it has become one of my top three favorite brunch spots in Vancouver! The atmosphere of the restaurant is super nice, especially when the sun is out, every corner is perfect for taking photos. However, this restaurant does not accept reservations for brunch, only walk-ins are allowed (as long as you don't go during peak hours, you won't have to wait in line!). We ordered three dishes in total, and without further ado, let me introduce them~ ๐ Brioche French Toast - My favorite! A large piece of toast ๐ is crispy on the outside from butter baking, and soft and fragrant on the inside because it's soaked in milk. The mascarpone cheese on top has a faint milky aroma, paired with sweet blueberry sauce, I'm really dizzy! The sugar-roasted walnuts are also roasted to be fragrant and crispy. ๐ Egg Cocotte - The base of tomato is sour, paired with crispy toast and a runny yolk that flows when cut, and then dipped in tomato sauce, it's simply too delicious! ๐ Dutch Babe - I give it a hundred points! The pancake at the bottom is particularly soft and full of milky fragrance, mixed with salty ham and the runny yolk on top, and then covered with rich cheese sauce! So good, I like it. ๐ซถ๐ป It feels like you can't go wrong with anything you order here! The size of each dish is just right, and the price is very reasonable. Everyone can go to DT for brunch on weekends and then stroll around the city with friends. #Vancouver #VancouverLife #VancouverFood #VancouverExploration #Exploration #FollowMeToExplore #WeekendExploration #AtmosphericRestaurant #NorthAmericanLife #CanadianLife #Canada #WhatToEat #UBC #MyStudyAbroadLife
