Brussels & Ghent 🇧🇪 | 3 Days & 2 Nights
✈️ Ryanair only lands at CRL Airport, which is about 60km from central Brussels. I took the Flibco Airport Bus (19.95 EUR) to Midi Station. My hotel was a 10-minute walk from Central Station. I originally planned to book a Bolt ride at the Pullman Hotel near Midi Station, but the rides kept getting canceled 😩. In the end, I took a taxi right outside the hotel—for just 2.6km, I paid 20 EUR… Ouch! Pro tip: If your accommodation is near Central Station or Brussels Grand Place, take the train from Midi to Central Station. It’s only 4 minutes, runs frequently, and costs just over 2 EUR 🚂! 🌟 I’m OBSESSED with Ghent! It feels like stepping straight into the Middle Ages—those medieval buildings are chef’s kiss 🕌. On cloudy days, the Count’s Castle and dim alleyways have a mysterious vibe… like vampires might pop out with fangs anytime 🧛♂️! Walking along the river is so cozy too 🌊. There are tons of roses lining the inner banks 🌹, and lots of people either taking boat rides or sipping coffee by the water. Super chilled and relaxing—I absolutely love this atmosphere ☕! 🍴 Food & Drinks Highlights Amadeo: All-you-can-eat pork ribs! The portions are huge, the meat is tender, and it’s juicy with a sweet flavor. I even wanted to fly back to Brussels just to eat it again 🤤! Fin de Siècle: Tasted a bit like ketchup—still good, but I preferred the first one more 😐. 🍫 Chocolate Picks Deduytschaever (Ghent): Recommended by a sister who’s lived in Belgium for years! It balances sweetness perfectly, and the prices are cheaper than many other shops. Their matcha, yuzu, and rose flavors are all great 🍵! Elisabeth: Loved their champagne-flavored chocolate 🥂! Neuhaus: A classic go-to—never disappoints ✨! Galet: Amazing waffles (a must-try!) 🧇! #Belgium #StudyInUK #Ghent #Brussels #EuropeTravel
