Busan Sky Capsule Train Guide! You’ll Regret Missing It Forever!

I flew 2,000 kilometers to South Korea just to ride the Busan Sky Capsule Train… I’m willing to call it the No.1 Must-Do Activity in Busan 🤩! Today, I’m sharing super detailed tips for riding the capsule train ‼️ (I explained how to book tickets in my previous post, so I won’t repeat that here). ⚠️ Currently, the official website only supports South Korean credit cards for booking. Peak season is coming soon—book in advance! 🚂 Route Options The capsule train has 2 directions . Tickets are for one-way trips (either going or returning): Mia-ri → Cheongsapo: Runs along the outer side of the track, with sea views 🌊 📍 Navigate to: Haeundae Blueline Park Mipo Station Cheongsapo → Mia-ri: Runs along the inner side of the track, with mountain views ⛰️ 📍 Navigate to: Haeundae Blueline Park Cheongsapo Station 🚂 Riding Guide For Mia-ri → Cheongsapo (First visit Haeundae Blueline Park) Arrive at Mipo Station : 1st floor: Ticket office and departure platform for the coastal train 2nd floor: Boarding platform for the Sky Capsule Train. Follow the white line to go up to the 2nd floor (white line = Sky Capsule; red line = in-person ticket office; blue line = coastal train). Go to the 2nd floor to verify your ticket during your reserved time slot: You’ll receive an email after successful booking . Click the link in the email to verify—screenshots are not accepted! After ticket verification, line up directly to board. Show your booking details to the staff again before getting on For Cheongsapo → Mia-ri (First visit “Little Kamakura”) There are far fewer people queuing for departures from Cheongsapo. Even though this route runs along the inner track, the distance to the sea is the same as the Mia-ri → Cheongsapo route—no big difference in views! ⏰ Booking Time Notes The ride takes about 30 minutes. Arrive to queue during your reserved time slot. Example: If you book the 12:00-12:30 slot, it doesn’t mean you depart at 12:00—you can board anytime between 12:00 and 12:30. 🔺 Cancellation & Modification Rules Full refund: Available on the booking day and 3 days before the ride. 20% deduction: 2 days before the ride. 30% deduction: 1 day before the ride. 50% deduction: Before your reserved time slot on the ride day. No refund: After your reserved time slot. Once booked, the only way to change the time is to cancel and rebook! Check the weather for your desired time in advance. 🔸 TIPS Tickets sell out fast during Busan’s peak season and holidays. The official website no longer supports Visa/Mastercard, and on-site tickets are only for the same day (chances of selling out are high). If you want to ride it, be sure to contact us in advance—we book directly through the official website for confirmed tickets! E-tickets don’t need to be exchanged for physical tickets. You’ll receive a confirmation email after booking—double-check your email address (a wrong address will affect your ride)! 🍯 Honey’s Note: For friends who want to ride the Sky Capsule Train, leave a comment with “[Date + Number of People]”! Honey will help you with all the arrangements! #BusanSkyCapsuleTrain #BusanSkyCapsuleGuide #BusanSkyCapsuleBooking #SkyCapsuleTrain #BusanTravel #BusanTrip #BusanTouristSpots #BusanSouthKorea #SouthKoreaTravel #BusanFreeTravel
