🌸📣 Butchart Gardens: Half a Day Isn’t Enough! 🌷💐
🌱 History: Created in 1904 by Robert & Jenny Butchart after transforming a derelict limestone quarry. ⛏️🌼 By 2004, it became a 🇨🇦 National Historic Site—a testament to creativity and passion! 🌳 The Gardens: Spread over 12 hectares, with Sunken Garden, Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, Italian Garden, and Mediterranean Garden. 🌹🌲 Over 100+ species—maple trees, lilies, cherry blossoms, tulips, roses… and a GORGEOUS greenhouse! 🌺🌱 💦✨ Highlights: Water-dancing fountains and hidden nooks that feel like fairyland. 🧚♀️💦 ☕🚢 My Experience: Raced through (literally ate ice cream on the go 🍦😅) because we booked a whale-watching tour later. Would’ve LOVED to linger for afternoon tea in this paradise! ☕🐳 🏆🙏 Why Visit? A TOP Vancouver Island attraction—a MUST for garden lovers! 💖🌿 #Vancouver #GardenGoals #TravelBlogs #FairytaleGardens 🌍📸
