Calgary Saskatoon Farm & Tianci Chinese Restaurant 🍒🐢🍦

My first time at Saskatoon Farm was in winter 2021; the second was winter 2022. This was my first summer visit—and it was so lively! The parking lot was full, and cars were lined up all along the street. 🚗💨 Must-do activities at the farm: 1️⃣ Try the ice cream! 🍦 We ordered four flavors: Saskatoon (the best! with little dark berries) Black Cherry 🍒 (a nice sweet & tangy twist) Chocolate (rich and creamy) Vanilla (the kid’s favorite — she wouldn’t even let me take a pic! 📸😅) Their ice cream is delicious, affordable, and super creamy. Pro tip: if you have a slow-eating little one, get a cup instead of a cone. 🥣👌 2️⃣ Meet the African Spurred Tortoises 🐢 They’re an endangered species, move surprisingly fast, and love cabbage! 🥬 If you’re lucky, you might even see them… doing their business or mating. 😳 3️⃣ Say hi to the animals! 🦃🐓🐇🦆 There are turkeys, guinea fowls, rabbits, ducks, and lots of mini animals. And have you ever seen two unleashed big dogs and a black cat roaming around a farm? 🐈‍⬛🐕 4️⃣ Hoodoos & Archway ⛰️ There are plenty of outdoor chairs set up—perfect for sitting back and enjoying the distant views. 5️⃣ Don’t leave empty-handed! 🥧 Grab a box of freshly baked saskatoon pie or scones made with berries picked right on the farm. You won’t find these flavors anywhere else! 6️⃣ Come back for U-pick! 🍎🍒 Right now it’s cherry and berry season. By late August, apple picking will start!
