Cambridge Christmas Market Shopping and Eating Guide 【Early Edition】!
📍Two weeks ago, the construction of the Christmas market began at Parker’s Piece. Every day, watching it gradually take shape like a set of building blocks has really built up the excitement! 📍Today, the Christmas market finally opened, and I immediately went over with friends to check it out. Although the lawn doesn’t look very large, it’s designed very compactly, with quite a lot to do. There are entertainment options like a Ferris wheel, carousel, Christmas tree maze, and the most anticipated ice rink! Checking the price list, it’s £15 for adults per session, £14 for students, which is perfect for making plans with friends to play together! 📍The design is also very atmospheric! The Christmas trees inside are large and beautiful (much nicer than the one in the city center), perfect for taking photos! Many Nordic-style wooden huts have been set up at the market, complete with rocking chairs and sofas covered with blankets, creating a cozy and warm atmosphere, perfect for eating, drinking, and chatting with friends. There’s also a wooden hut offering DIY crafts for £5 per person, where you can make charms, crochet, and print canvas bags. Occasionally, they even create artificial snowfall outside the huts! The festive vibe is strong! 📍In terms of food, there are German grilled sausages, Spanish churros, pizza, beer, hot chocolate, and crepes, which are decent. The German sausages taste pretty good. There are plenty of tables and chairs for everyone to eat, which is nice. 📍It’s just opened, so it’s not very crowded yet, but the Christmas atmosphere is super strong! The lights aren’t very noticeable during the day, but it should look even better at night. Quickly gather your friends to go shopping and eating!! 📍 Christmas Market Information Dates: November 14th - January 5th, 11:00-22:00 (Special: Opens at 10:00 on Sundays, closes at 23:00 on Fridays and Saturdays) Admission: Free Entry #Christmas #ChristmasEve #BritishLife #CambridgeUniversity #ChristmasGifts
