Camille | Vietnamese Cuisine with Michelin
Dined at Camille Orlando – Michelin One Star 📍 I checked out Orlando’s Michelin-starred Camille today. All in all, the dishes are creative and fun, but it’s the kind of meal that’s satisfying yet not mind-blowing—no disappointment, but no wow factor either. 🥂 Dining Experience • A 7-course tasting menu, with appetizers being my favorite part throughout the meal. The final dessert was quite an odd combination: French toast paired with ice cream and chicken skin. The greasy aftertaste of the chicken skin lingered in my mouth all night 🫠. • Servers would occasionally recommend add-ons like caviar, truffle, or wine (all extra charge, of course). • The complimentary tea they served was lovely—fresh, calming flavor that left a nice impression. • A sweet touch at the end: they gifted us two cans of Vietnamese coffee to take away. 💰 Pricing • ~$175 per person (before tax and tip), wine and drinks extra. • Drinks add-on: A glass of white wine, a Vietnamese coffee, and sparkling water (expected it to be extra, but not this pricey!) cost an additional $80 total. • We celebrated a birthday, so my boyfriend added a bouquet of flowers when booking—it was $60, and the arrangement was just as underwhelming as the dessert… ✅ Final Verdict (Personal Opinion, No Hate 🙏) Pros: Creative dish concepts, quiet and elegant ambiance, memorable appetizers and complimentary tea, and the thoughtful Vietnamese coffee takeaway gift. Cons: The overall flavors failed to impress; all add-ons are overpriced. A heads-up for anyone who hates splurging tens of dollars on sparkling water—skip the sparkling water if you’re on a budget! #OrlandoMichelin #MichelinOneStar #OrlandoFineDining #FloridaTravel #OrlandoEats #FancyEats
