Can’t Believe You Get Japanese Food This Thoughtful for $20

Domo Japanese Country Food — Denver, CO ⚠️ But note: they close at 7 PM!! They have a beautiful Japanese-style garden and lovely decor. Most main dishes on the menu are around $16 — compare that to basic Americanized sushi or ramen spots charging the same for a bowl of noodles! 🍡 Takoyaki — 9.3/10 Would order again ✅ Could’ve given 10/10, but it’s not super technical. (Still better than a certain well-known Osaka-style place that serves burnt takoyaki 😅) 🍚 Unagi Don — 7–8/10 Tastes just like what you’d expect from unagi rice — topped with winter melon floss, a nice thoughtful touch. 🍚 Stone Pot Rice — 7–8/10 Looks a bit like American-Chinese food, beef tastes as expected — decent. Main appeal is the crispy rice crust at the bottom. 🍜 Ramen — 7/10 Pretty standard ramen. Overall, the experience here is fantastic 🌟 Each dish might not be extraordinary, but it’s way better than those one-note ramen shops where everything tastes the same.
