Can’t Help Loving California Sunsets 🌅✨

10-day trip: West Coast → East Coast. 3 days in LA → reverse Highway 1 road trip to SF → SF✈️NY → back to Shanghai. Thanks to GTA🎮, my first-time-in-LA partner felt like an old local~ 1. Shanghai-LA direct flight (10h)🛫, paid ¥900 extra for emergency exit seats—legroom worth it! Hertz pickup was smooth🚗, but they auto-added an $85 FPO fuel service⛽️ (no need to refuel return). Way pricier than filling up myself—avoid this坑! ⚠️ 2. First stop: 📍 Lake Hollywood Park for grassy photos🌿. Drive 100m up the hill for Zhong Chuxi’s same photo spot📸. Cruised around the hills—so many lavish homes🏡 with fun details. Downhill, 📍 542 S Windsor Blvd offers palm-lined streets + Hollywood sign views🌴. Zoom in for the shot! 3. Checked into Santa Monica Hilton after 2pm. Suite felt like a basichotel😅. Overnight public parking across the street🅿️ beat hotel’s $60/night! Safe wealthy area, 15-min walk to Santa Monica Beach🌊. 4. Ate delicious Mexican tacos🌮. 18% tip + tax auto-charged—no tip choices in LA😂. Beachside vendors everywhere, saw Route 66’s end🛣️, rode the sunset rollercoaster🎢. 5. Day2: Partner’s pilgrimage to dt Staple Center🏀. Sincere photo with Kobe (forgot the 24 jersey😢). Ate at Korean spot SunNongDan—braised ribs & oxtail with cheese🧀, flambéed onsite🔥! Huge portions, oxbone soup noodles also amazing. 6. Afternoon in Beverly Hills. Bought $20 Hailey Bieber-style shake at trendy EREWHO🥤—too sweet! Saw a lovely sister wedding at Civic Center💒. 7. Recommend Greystone🏛️—close to Beverly, petite gardens, fewer crowds, easy parking🅿️. 8. Hollywood Walk of Fame least recommended🌟. Scammers abound🃏, parking nightmare. Most star prints (Jackie Chan, Huang Xiaoming) are at Chinese Theatre🎭. 9. Afternoon at Griffith Observatory🔭—La La Land location! Arrive early for parking. Terrace views clearly show Hollywood sign. Sunset + city skyline here = pure romance🌃. Dinner: potato noodles + sliced combo🍜 + fried skewers🍢. LA Chinese food beats even Shanghai’s version😋 10. Day3: Laguna Beach + San Diego (next post📒). Afternoon rushed to Sunset Blvd 📍 6931 Vista Del Mar L—missed sunset but the afterglow was breathtaking😭 (my perfect California! Beach sunset + palms = vibe🌴). Dinner at Hunan spot Dong Ting Xian🌶️—authentic & rice-worthy. 11. Day4: Early morning at Paul Smith Pink Wall💖—dreamed of this for 10 years, finally cliché-checked-in📸. Then hit the road🚗 to San Francisco✌️! #CaliforniaSunset #LATravel #WestCoastRoadTrip #Highway1 #LAInstagram #Hollywood #SantaMonica #BeverlyHills #GriffithObservatory #TravelTips
