Can it rival the world's second-ranked bar? 🌟

🍸I finally checked out Chinato, located in Chinatown. Ever since I visited Double Chicken Please, my friends have been raving about this place daily. 🌟Although it's relatively new, it's already generating quite a buzz. The hype includes a custom cocktail menu designed by the mastermind behind Double Chicken Please and dishes crafted by a Michelin-starred chef. After its official opening in late September, Chinato briefly accepted walk-ins, but we still made a reservation just to be safe. 🕵️‍♀️ 🍸We ordered four drinks, one of which wasn't on the menu—it was a special daily cocktail. The best one for me was the Tropical special (I can't remember the exact name). It had a mango flavor with a slight bitter aftertaste from the gin, making it quite balanced. 🍃 We also tried the Chinato, which is based on Chinese baijiu. It had a strong Chinese vibe, but it was too strong for my taste. 🌟The famous Gin & Juice was quite refreshing with a Yakult-like flavor. It was definitely easy to drink, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. The presentation was a bit underwhelming, and the layers of flavor felt a bit lacking—it tasted more like a drink mixed with alcohol. 🍋 🍸Lastly, the Rum and Coco Cola was visually intriguing. You might expect it to be cola-colored, but it was actually transparent. It was sweet and easy to drink, with a creative twist, though it still felt like it was missing something. 🥤 #NewYork 🌃 #BarHopping 🥂 #CocktailLovers 🍸
